The hotel was very basic and tired looking. It desperately needs a good coat of paint inside & out, although it was clean. The lawns needed cutting badly, which totally lowered first impressions. A good swimming pool, which was appreciated after a long hot day, spent at the Magny Cours race circuit, for the World Super Bikes event. I may well consider staying again in future.
Appearance. If I had not booked, I would have gone elsewhere. It was ok, once we had settled in.

No restraunt after a long drive the last thing a traveller wants is to get back in the car and have to look for somewhere to eat

The restaurant was no longer functioning and since we had travelled for 11 hours we didi not expect to have to drive out to another location.
